I remember the first time I saw Frozen. It changed my life. That's because it was Disney’s latest blockbuster release and it captivated its audience like crazy. The songs, the storyline, the characters—they all became part of our lives almost instantaneously. One of our favorite things about watching movies is that they are one of the few places where we can escape reality for a fleeting moment or two. With so much negativity in the world today, things like Disney movies help us remember that not everything is as hopeless as it seems. One of the best parts of watching Frozen or any other Disney movie is that you never know how it might change your life. Now I’m not saying that watching Frozen will give you ice powers to shoot snow and create ice structures, but I am saying that it can make you appreciate life a little more. Whether you are 9 or 99 years old, Frozen teaches all of us to keep hope alive no matter how difficult life may seem. It also teaches us to believe in ourselves and not give up on what we love most. The story is about Princess Anna, who goes looking for her sister Elsa, who goes into hiding after her power to freeze everything with a touch gets out of control. After an accident leaves Anna separated from her companions, she must find the strength to survive the harsh wintry elements. Only then will she be able to reunite with her sister and save their kingdom from an eternal winter. Frozen is one of those movies that sticks with you long after the credits roll. It has everything—a little bit of drama, romance, adventure and even humor. It also happens to have a cast of lovable characters and a soundtrack that is practically stuck in our heads 24/7. Here are a few of our favorite things about Frozen: It sparks an appreciation for winter and winter sports. As much as we enjoy summer, we also love the winter weather. It makes us want to get outside and do some sledding or build an awesome snowman or even just enjoy sitting by the fireplace. There’s nothing like watching Elsa create her magic. No matter how old you are, I’m sure you have been fascinated by all things magical. As a kid, I used to love watching magic tricks and watching my dad perform card tricks. As a child, it was especially fun to watch Elsa freeze things with just a touch. It’s almost like she flipped a switch in the sky and the sky changed colors and the clouds disappeared…and god knows what else it did! (You know what I mean!) The music of Frozen is incredibly catchy and memorable. cfa1e77820
